Meetings of The Barn Dance Historical Society

1. Annual Meetings

The Annual Meeting of the Society is held each year in April. Date, time, and location of the meeting will be announced in the Newsletter and on the web site. The agenda of the meeting includes:

minutes of the last Annual Meeting

reports of all members of the Board of Directors

reports of all Committee Chairpersons

elections to the Board of Directors

any other business deemed by the Board of Directors to be of interest to all members, or which, under the bylaws, requires a decision by the general membership.

Formal notice of time and location will be given to all members. Eleven members are required to form a quorum.

2. General Meetings

The Board typically meets the first Monday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Board Room of David Carson Sales Barn east of Listowel. If the first Monday is a holiday, the meeting is held on the following Monday. All members are welcome to attend. Six members are required to form a quorum.
