"an afternoon of traditional country & gospel music" with Master of Ceremonies - Jim Swan
and special guests Larry Mercey - is a Canadian country music icon and member of the Canadian Country Music Hall
of Fame. Larry was the lead singer with the legendary Mercey Brothers and also had a great solo
career. Larry got his start on the original CKNX Barn Dance. With his wife June, Larry lived
for many years in Waterloo but now resides in Ilderton.
Naomi Bristow - is a 16 year old singing and yodeling sensation from Beeton, Ontario. Naomi
is already an experienced recording artist and has recorded CD's in Nashville featuring duets with
Jim Ed Brown and Vince Gill. She is making quite a name for herself in Canadian and US traditional
country music circles, a rising star! Randy Satchell - lives with his wife Carol in Mitchell. Randy is an accomplished singer,
songwriter and recording artist. He's a two time winner of the Male Open category at the Canadian
Open Country Singing Contest and was head judge at that competition for many years. He is well
known and in demand in southwestern Ontario country music circles. Gary Boyle - has been called "Canada's Country Balladeer" as his songs reflect country and folk
artists like Jim Reeves, John, Denver, Burl Ives and Hank Williams. Gary is a singer, songwriter
and recording artist. He performs as a single, duo or with a full band and has played many fairs,
festivals, corporate functions and theatres all across Canada. Gary has also performed in
Australia. The Barn Dance Show Band

Jim lives in London and is in demand as a host and MC for many different events.
He is the "voice of the Barn Dance"
and brings a warm, professional and entertaining
presence to each and every show he hosts.
